Where Is Dad

Rainbow was quietly reading after a hard day with the wonder bolts. She was in Twilight's study room and getting to the end of her book when little eyes peeked over her book "Hello squirt, did you need something?" Dash asked her son. Storm blaze looked at his mother"moma where's daddy?"  Rainbow stop thinking for a bit, returning her gaze to her colt she set her book down. She knew this was an innocent question, but it was a hard one to explain and a bit painful at that. " You see Blazey ,daddy left on..a very long journey and...he won't be back any time soon.." Blaze look up "why?" Rainbow paused for a second "...because he wanted to but he loves you lot. However, sometimes you just have to be happy with what you got sunshine, and that would be uncle spike, me and-" the door opened and Storm Blaze turned around " mommy Twilight!!" Blaze ran to her giving little kisses. " Oh Who's my little favorite Pegasus in Equestria?" Twilight nuzzled him "me me " Blaze chirped " and moma too!" he ran to Dash with Twilight behind him. Rainbow looked up receiving a nuzzle from her wife "you majesty how was your day ?" Rainbow asked making room for all three of them " It was okay but I do want some cuddles with a cutie prismatic bird " Twilight kisses Dash's checks "EWWW mommy!! I'm out of here". Both mares giggle and looked at each other " So what were you two talking about?" Twilight asked while laying her head down on Dash's back "He..asked about Soarin.." Twilight's ears peeked up "and how did that go..did you tell him?" Dash sighed "no...i'm going to wait until he's a bit older...I have to tell him..i can't ignore it, he's the spiting image of his father..i just hope they won't run into each other in the meantime " Twilight got closer to Rainbow "L'll be here every step of the way" Rainbow smiled "thanks Egghead " Rainbow embraced Twilight and thought to herself  how Soarin was doing with her daughter.  

yeah i changed the design of prismic light now known as Storm Blaze , also R.D's daughter's name was changed from rainbow flame to prismic light
